Version 1.1 dated 16 October 2026
Effective upon publication.
1 Service operator and application of these Terms
1.1. SimPie is a service for purchasing and managing eSIM plans through simpie.me and the SimPie mobile applications.
1.2. The seller is GOODLINE SOFTWARES W.L.L., a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration No. 175788-1. Address: Office 33, Building 114, Road 383, Block 316, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. Contact: support@simpie.me. In these Terms, “SimPie”, “we” and the “Company” refer to this company.
1.3. The Company sells plans in its own name. Mobile network connectivity and telecommunications services are supplied by third-party providers and operators. The Company does not own the relevant mobile networks.
1.4. When registering or placing an order, the user accepts these Terms, the Refund Policy and the applicable Fair Usage Policy. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Consents to optional analytics and marketing emails are obtained separately from each other and from acceptance of the contractual terms.
1.5. The plan specifications displayed before payment form part of the contract. In the event of a conflict, they prevail in relation to that plan’s allowance, coverage, validity, speed, included services and restrictions. Mandatory applicable law prevails over contractual provisions.
2 Eligibility
2.1. Users must be at least 18 years old and must have reached the age of majority if applicable law sets a higher age.
2.2. SimPie is not available to:
(a) citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain, wherever they live, including persons holding multiple citizenships;
(b) persons habitually resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain, regardless of citizenship;
(c) persons habitually resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area, regardless of citizenship;
(d) persons physically present in the Kingdom of Bahrain, regardless of citizenship or habitual residence.
2.3. Such persons may not register an account on the SimPie website or in the SimPie mobile applications, purchase plans or use the services provided through any SimPie resource.
2.4. Citizenship of an EU or EEA country alone does not prevent use by a person habitually resident outside the EU and EEA who otherwise meets the eligibility requirements.
2.5. SimPie does not offer coverage in Bahrain, including through regional plans. Inclusion of a European country in a plan’s coverage does not override clause 2.2.
2.6. When registering and placing an order, users confirm that they meet the requirements of section 2 and are responsible for the accuracy of that confirmation. No new orders may be placed if the requirements are no longer met. If the confirmation is inaccurate, the Company may refuse registration or an order, or terminate service. Paid orders are settled under the Refund Policy and mandatory applicable law.
2.7. These restrictions do not prevent contacting support, bringing lawful claims or exercising personal data rights.
2.8. Users confirm that they are not included on sanctions lists of the United Nations, the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or the Kingdom of Bahrain and do not act on behalf of or for the benefit of such persons. Users must not use SimPie in breach of applicable sanctions or export controls. The Company may restrict plan sales or operation in territories where required by applicable sanctions, export controls, provider requirements or law. Where such a restriction is unrelated to a user’s breach of these Terms, the user is offered a permitted replacement or a refund for the unused part of the plan under the Refund Policy. Replacements and refunds are provided only to the extent legally permitted; mandatory blocking of funds or a requirement for competent-authority authorisation is addressed under clause 6.6 of the Refund Policy. Mandatory user rights remain unaffected.
2.9. Technical payment availability, the country where a card was issued or a successful charge does not establish eligibility to use SimPie or override the restrictions in this section.
3 Accounts and security
3.1. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their account information, protecting their login credentials and activities they authorise.
3.2. Suspected unauthorised access must be reported to support@simpie.me without undue delay.
3.3. Ordinary registration does not require a passport or documentary identity verification. If a particular service requires identification under applicable law or operator requirements, the relevant conditions will be disclosed before that service is purchased.
3.4. The Company may restrict access where there are reasonable indications of account compromise, fraud or use in breach of these Terms. Restrictions must be proportionate to the identified risk.
4 Plans and orders
4.1. Available features are determined by the plan description. Data, voice calls, SMS and a telephone number are provided only where expressly included in the selected plan.
4.2. Before paying, users must check coverage, device compatibility and carrier-lock status, allowances, speed restrictions, validity, the maximum delivery period, the eSIM installation and activation deadlines, and the total price.
4.3. A data plan does not provide ordinary voice calls, SMS or a telephone number unless expressly stated. Where voice services are offered, number-use conditions and emergency-service access arrangements are disclosed before purchase; mandatory legal requirements remain applicable.
4.4. The price, currency and mandatory charges collected by SimPie are displayed before payment is confirmed. Charges and currency conversion applied by the user’s bank or payment service are governed by that organisation’s terms.
4.5. An order contract is formed when SimPie confirms acceptance of the order. Confirmation that a payment service has charged or reserved funds does not, by itself, confirm eSIM delivery.
If a paid order is not accepted and no service is supplied, the amount charged is refunded; a temporary payment authorisation is released under the payment service’s procedures. Mandatory restrictions on transactions involving funds under clause 6.6 of the Refund Policy remain applicable.
4.6. Automatic renewal or recurring charges require the user’s separate prior agreement.
5 Delivery, commencement and repeat purchases
5.1. The eSIM and installation information are supplied electronically through the account or application. The maximum delivery period is stated in the selected plan description.
5.2. The validity of an initially purchased data package begins with the first data transmission through the relevant eSIM. Installing the eSIM profile does not, by itself, constitute data transmission.
5.3. The period within which the eSIM must be installed and activated is stated in the plan description.
5.4. When the same package is purchased again, its allowance is added to the available balance and validity restarts at the time of the repeat purchase. Unused days from the previous validity period are not added to the new period.
5.5. Purchasing a different package for the same eSIM replaces the current package. The remaining allowance of the previous package expires and is not carried over. The new data package’s validity begins with the first data transmission after replacement. The replacement and loss of the remaining allowance are disclosed before payment.
5.6. For a plan containing other services, its commencement and expiry rules must be expressly disclosed before purchase.
5.7. eSIM profiles and installation details may be subject to technical restrictions on reinstallation and transfer. Deleting a profile from a device does not cancel the order, pause validity or guarantee that reinstallation will be possible.
6 Connectivity and limitations
6.1. Connectivity and performance depend on coverage, the device, settings, network conditions, congestion, local restrictions and operator actions. A stated maximum speed is not a guarantee of continuous actual speed.
6.2. Unless the plan description provides a specific guarantee, SimPie does not promise uninterrupted connectivity, availability at every location within a coverage area or suitability for a particular user purpose.
6.3. The plan is provided in accordance with its description and applicable limitations. References to dependence on third-party networks do not release the Company from its obligations as seller or the legally required consequences of non-performance or defective performance.
6.4. The Company may carry out necessary maintenance and take measures to protect the service. Material changes to a paid plan are not applied retrospectively except where permitted by law or objectively necessary to comply with binding requirements of competent authorities.
7 Acceptable use
7.1. Plans are intended for personal use by an end user unless expressly agreed otherwise.
7.2. Resale, providing paid access to third parties, fraud, unauthorised use of accounts or payment instruments, interference with networks, circumvention of limits and other unlawful use are prohibited.
7.3. Further requirements and restrictions appear in the Fair Usage Policy.
7.4. Making a complaint, contacting a regulator, exercising data rights or disputing a payment in good faith does not, by itself, breach these Terms.
8 Suspension, termination and refunds
8.1. The Company may suspend or terminate service for a material breach of these Terms, a lawful requirement of a competent authority or the need to prevent a substantiated risk to the security of the service or networks.
8.2. Where permitted and compatible with addressing the risk, the user will be informed of the reason and an available route to contact support.
8.3. The consequences of termination and any refund entitlement depend on the order circumstances, the Refund Policy and mandatory applicable law. Termination by the Company does not automatically forfeit all amounts paid.
8.4. Account deletion does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement. If deletion will remove access to an active plan or installation information, this will be explained before deletion is confirmed.
9 Liability
9.1. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or consequences of circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9.2. To the same extent, the Company’s aggregate liability relating to a particular order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
9.3. These restrictions do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer remedies, mandatory compensation and liability for intentional misconduct or other conduct for which a limitation is prohibited.
9.4. The Company’s inability to recover money from a supplier does not restrict the user’s mandatory rights.
10 Governing law and disputes
10.1. The contract is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This choice does not deprive a consumer of protection under mandatory provisions that would apply irrespective of the choice of law.
10.2. Order enquiries and disputes may be submitted to support@simpie.me. Contacting support does not restrict other legally available remedies.
10.3. To the extent that this agreement is valid and enforceable, disputes shall be finally resolved under the Arbitration Rules of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR), by one arbitrator, with the seat of arbitration in Manama, Bahrain, and proceedings in English.
10.4. This arbitration provision does not restrict a consumer’s non-waivable right to bring proceedings before a competent court or use a mandatory dispute resolution mechanism. If the arbitration provision does not apply, the dispute shall be heard by a court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
11 Changes and language
11.1. Updated Terms apply to subsequent use of the service and new orders. Publication of an updated text does not, by itself, worsen the terms of an existing order.
11.2. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated through an available channel. Fresh consent will be requested where legally required.
11.3. The English version prevails in the event of inconsistency between language versions, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
12 Intellectual property and general provisions
12.1. SimPie software, design, materials and branding belong to the Company or their respective rights holders. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms. No intellectual property ownership is transferred.
12.2. Copying, commercial exploitation and reverse engineering require the rights holder’s permission, except where expressly permitted by mandatory law.
12.3. Users are liable for proven direct loss caused by their culpable breach or unlawful use to the extent provided by applicable law. Penalties under the Company’s supplier contracts are not automatically passed on to users.
12.4. Invalidity of a provision does not invalidate the remaining provisions if the contract can operate without it. These Terms do not exclude legally binding representations on which a user is entitled to rely.
